Mandy Fischer BSc (Hons) Ost, DO – Osteopath
Mandy worked as a Registered Nurse for 14 years before retraining as an Osteopath, graduating with a BSc (Hons) from the European School of Osteopathy (ESO) in 1997. She has worked in Lewes since then, establishing Cliffe Osteopaths in 2007. For some years she taught at the ESO, and was a clinic tutor in the School’s Childrens Clinic.
Mandy sees a wide variety of patients, including younger adults, older people, manual workers, office professionals, babies, children and sports people, and has always enjoyed the general nature of her practice.
Steven Bettles M.Ed, BSc (Hons) Ost, BA, DO
Following an early career in the legal profession, Steven became interested in osteopathy having experienced it as a patient. His interest grew to the point that he retrained as an osteopath, graduating from the European School of Osteopathy (ESO) in 1997. He currently works predominantly in osteopathic education, and is Vice Principal (Osteopathic) at the ESO. He is able to see patients at Cliffe Osteopaths on Saturday mornings.
Julie Padgham-Undrell BSc (Hons) MNIMH - Medical Herbalist
Julie became interested in plants at quite a young age, but it was later, when she saw friends benefit from herbal medicine that her interest in the therapeutic use of plants was sparked. She took an introductory course in herbal medicine, whilst also helping out at weekends at a herbal apothecary in Alfriston, alongside a qualified medical herbalist. This experience led Julie to pursue a career as a medical herbalist and she graduated from the University of Westminster with a BSc (Hons) degree in Herbal Medicine.
Julie is a member of the National Institute of Medical Herbalists (NIMH). Established in 1864, it is the UK's oldest and leading professional body for practising medical herbalists.
Lesley Issacs Dip I Hyp, GQHP, GHR
Lesley is a qualified hypnotherapist, experienced in treating a wide range of issues. She uses a mix of hypnosis, counseling and Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT). She is a validated practitioner of the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council and a member of the General Hypnotherapy Register.

Nicki Edgell DNN – Natural Nutrition
Nicki trained at the College of Natural Nutrition in London and is a member of the Federation of Nutritional Therapy Practitioners.

Sue Morton RM (RM) BSc (Hons) Advance Massage Dip - Massage Therapist
Sue trained to be a nurse and midwife, before retraining as an osteopath, qualifying in 1999. After spending some time abroad she has taken courses in massage, and is now offering therapeutic massage to adults and pregnant women. The treatments can be tailored to suit the needs of the individual client.
Massage is helpful to relieve muscle tension and pain, increase flexibility and mobility, reduce stress, increase relaxation and promote a feeling of general wellbeing. Whether the aim is relaxation or to relieve a specific problem area, most of us can benefit from massage therapy.
Sue combines her skills and experience using a variety of techniques, including deep soft tissue techniques and muscle stretching. Pregnant women can be treated after the 12th week of pregnancy.
Anthea Barbary LicAc MBAcC Dip I Hyp GQHP - Acupuncture
Anthea has been a therapist since 1997, and has experience in treating a wide range of conditions. She is a member of the British Acupuncture Council and the General Hypnotherapy Register.

Julia Rivas BA (Hons), MA - Core Process Psychotherapy
Julia has been working as a counsellor and subsequently as a psychotherapist since 1991. Her clients have come from all walks of life, differing lifestyles and cultural and ethnic backgrounds.
She has an MA in Core Process Psychotherapy, awarded by the Karuna Institute, and has completed and passed the accreditation process for registration with the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP).
